IMPLEMENTASI BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM) PADA PEMODELAN GEDUNG PUSAT PERKANTORAN MTS MUHAMMADIYAH LIMO KAUM MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI OPEN BUILDING
Abstract
Open Building is one of the software that supports the concept of Building information modeling (BIM). By using this software, users can create virtual models of buildings like real buildings and analyze modeling in each job. This study aims to determine and obtain 3D BIM output in the application of structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing work modeling. using Open Building software and knowing the results of the difference in the calculation of building modeling analysis using BIM methods with conventional. This research was conducted using a case study on the MTS Muhammadiyah Limo Kaum Office Center Building Construction Project located in Andurin Tuo Lima Kaum Hamlet, Lima Kaum, Lima Kaum District, Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra. The data used in this study is in the form of Detailed Engineering Drawing (DED) data obtained from project documents then the data is remodeled using Open Building software. The result of this study is that the BIM concept can facilitate the grouping of information needed in the construction of the MTS Muhammadiyah Limo Kaum Office Center Building effectively and efficiently in utilizing materials, and can minimize errors on the job. From this study, there are differences in modeling between analysis using Open Building software and conventional methods, namely in the form of 3D modeling of buildings.
