Author Guidelines

Progressive Journal of Advanced Engineering and Technology (PJAET) welcomes high-quality original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the field of engineering and technology. Authors are requested to follow these guidelines when preparing their manuscripts for submission.

1. Manuscript Preparation

1.1 General Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be written in English and formatted in a single-column layout.
  • Use Times New Roman, 11-point font, and 1line spacing.
  • The manuscript should be submitted in MS Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • The length of the manuscript should be between 6 to 15 pages, including references, tables, and figures.

1.2 Structure of the Manuscript

  1. Title: Clear, concise, and relevant to the study.
  2. Author Information: Full name, affiliation, email, and ORCID (if available).
  3. Abstract: A brief summary of the study (150-250 words) including objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  4. Keywords: 3-6 keywords relevant to the research.
  5. Introduction: Background, research gap, and objectives of the study.
  6. Methodology: Details on research methods, data collection, and analysis techniques.
  7. Results and Discussion: Presentation and interpretation of findings with relevant comparisons.
  8. Conclusion: Summary of findings, limitations, and future research directions.
  9. References: Cited sources following IEEE or APA (7th edition) citation style.

1.3 Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1).
  • Captions must be clear and placed above tables and below figures.
  • High-resolution images (300 dpi) should be used.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
